  Italian and Swiss family, based in Grancia (Switzerland).
  I am an historian of art, Director of an art Gallery; my husband is a professor of philosophy at University of Lucerne
  2 lovely children.
  We use to spend holidays in Cefalù (Italy)
  
  We offer:
  Italian holidays childcare
  board and lodging included
  pocket money: 100 Euros a week
  in Cefalù (Sicily) from 5th to 23rd August in a castle by the sea (bedroom with private bathroom), with a magnificent swimming pool.
  
  In exchange, conversation in English with a girl (15 years old) and a boy (13 years old).
  We are looking for a female university student, with references, interested in learning Italian language and culture and in practicing Italian.
  
  About Palamara Villa
  The architectural complex is an ancient settlement documented since the fourteenth century as a monastic nucleus of summer residence of the Dominican Fathers. Subsequently used as a farm and summer residence of the Palamara family, who acquired it in 1868.

  Speaking with a philosophy university professor - but don't worry: you won't be examined! - who speaks perfect Italian (he also writes for the Corriere della Sera), belongig to a Sicilian family, and with an Italian art historian, Director of an Art Gallery, about philosophy, old Italian art history, local history and Italian culture in general, in a castle in front of the sea of Cefalù, will be a unique experience.

  You can easily reach (5 min. walking distance) the sea, when you stay with us in Cefalù.
  
  Getting around:
  The Villa is a few minutes drive from Cefalù, with its magnificent Norman Cathedral, a UNESCO heritage site; a half hour drive from Castelbuono, a wonderful little medieval town with the Castello dei Ventimiglia and its gastronomic refinements; close to the paths of the Madonie Park.
