  Hello workawayers! We are Maria, Dominik, and our 10-month-old daughter Helena, a young family living in the beautiful town of Neufahrn in southern Bavaria. As startup founders of a healthtech business, we lead busy lives but have a deep appreciation for work-life balance and meaningful experiences. We are excited to welcome you into our home and offer a rewarding workaway experience where you can explore the area while assisting us with various house activities.   About Us:
  In addition to our passion for entrepreneurship, we are proud parents to two adorable cats named Maui and Loki. They bring joy to our lives and are a cherished part of our family. We also share a love for travel and have explored fascinating destinations such as the United States, Chile, France, Spain, Panama, and Iceland. Whether it's running, swimming, or enjoying remote outdoor activities and hiking, we embrace an active lifestyle. We are also food enthusiasts who enjoy discovering new culinary delights and testing our palates with new and exciting flavors. As avid readers, we find joy in expanding our knowledge and diving into various subjects. Classical music holds a special place in our hearts, adding a touch of elegance to our daily lives. In our early 30s, we value cultural exchange and look forward to connecting with individuals from different backgrounds through the workaway program.
  
  Location and Surroundings:
  Neufahrn is a peaceful countryside town nestled between Munich and Lake Starnberg. Our home is the perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes, historical sites, and cultural attractions that this region offers. You'll have easy access to Munich, a vibrant city with the city center just 30 minutes away by public transport, as well as the picturesque Lake Starnberg, where you can enjoy walks, swimming, and relaxing by the water.

  Tasks and Responsibilities:
  We kindly welcome your assistance with various house activities based on your skills and interests. These tasks may include small gardening, window cleaning, vacuuming, minor repairs, as well as occasional babysitting and cooking. If you have experience in childcare or enjoy culinary adventures, we would love to incorporate these aspects into our workaway exchange. Let's learn and grow together!
  
  Schedule and Duration:
  We expect around 20-25 hours of help per week, with flexible scheduling to allow you to explore the surroundings at your own pace. The duration of your stay can be discussed, but ideally, we would appreciate a commitment of at least one week to ensure a meaningful exchange and continuity in our project.
  
  Additional Information:
  We believe in fostering cultural exchange, and language learning is an important part of that. We speak German and English fluently, while Dominik is also fluent in French, and Maria has a basic understanding of Spanish. We welcome the opportunity to practice and improve our language skills with you.
  
  If you're a responsible, proactive, and open-minded individual who is passionate about experiencing authentic Bavarian life, helping with household activities, and engaging in babysitting or cooking, we would love to hear from you!

  Accommodation and Meals:
  As our workawayer, you'll have your own comfortable bed in our guest room and access to a shared bathroom. We will provide delicious meals during your stay, offering a taste of traditional Bavarian cuisine. If you have any dietary preferences or restrictions, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

  We are a pet-loving family with two playful cat brothers named Maui and Loki. While they are independent and require minimal care, we hope you'll enjoy their company as well. Neufahrn offers easy access to supermarkets, public transportation, and scenic walking paths, making it convenient for daily needs and leisure activities.
