Hobby Farm with ocean view on beautiful Gabriola Island, BC, Canada. This warm Gulf island is full of friendly people, including many musicians, artists, and animal lovers. I have 3 horses, 3 cats and a large vegetable garden, and can always use help. Horse experience and or gardening knowledge is awesome but anyone willing to pitch in is welcome. I'll cook for you if you do the horse tasks or you can cook for us and I'll do the horse tasks :). This will be a relaxed and happy place for you to spend some time.

You will have a comfortable home base on a beautiful, sunny Gulf Island, in British Columbia, Canada. I can show you around Gabriola and help you see all the things to do here; beaches, parks, hiking, restaurants, music events, art shows, farmer's markets, etc. etc.

Preference for workawayers with horse experience. And cat lovers :)
Help is most needed / appreciated with horse care and cooking. Other house and outside tasks come up, depending on the season and your skills and experience.
Also general acreage upkeep is required from time to time.

I have a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, so you will have your own bedroom and easy access to a full bathroom, possibly exclusive use while you are here.

Gabriola is a gorgeous island, with many beaches, parks, and hiking trails. We are also just a 20 minute ferry ride to Nanaimo, which is a fair-sized city, containing every amenity you could need.
