We live in a small town in the west of Argentina. We have a horse training centre and train Arabian horses to participate in endurance competitions.
It´s a family environment where each of the members play a role during the races. You can see photos of our products in our account.
The place we run is located about 30 km away from the city centre. It´s quiet and nice.
We are looking for someone who would like to gain experience in the field and help in all the chores that are involved such as cleaning the horses, their beds, feed the animals and train them. Also, some help with the general maintenance of the place where the horses are. As the horses we have are for high level competitions it is extremely important that the applicant has sufficient experience in dealing with animals.
it is very important the the person who comes to help knows how to ride horses very well. When we train them we gallope for 20 or 30 kms. a day, So, you have to take this into account.
It´s a beautiful place with a nice, quiet atmosphere to enjoy.

the working hours will be as follow: 5 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are free. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.
if the volunteer wishes to help during the races we can offer him/her to travel with us to the competitions.
The volunteer will share the tasks with two other trainers we have in the Stud. Related to previous experience, we will only consider people with written references of having worked in other training centres.

the place is a small comfortable house. It has a dinning room and kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The volunteer won´t have to share the place and there is a person in charge of preparing the meals.
When volunteers are free they may go to the city centre. There are theatres, cinemas, shopping centres, museums and other places such as parks, zoos, etc. . Also, they can go skiing in the mountains or practice water sports in the river or in the Potrerillos lake. The transport is available two blocks away from the stud.
We haven´t had any previous experience with volunteers from this site but we have had people from Switzerland, France and Brazil at home. Carmen, from France, came to our place for a week and stayed for two months while going around South America. the other two guys are well know trainers who have given talks in the stud about taming horses.
