  Ciao!
  We are Aline and Davide, two siblings. We are 29 and 32 years old. We are bubbling over with ideas that we would like to implement here in our family home and our olive grove. And we would love to share them with you. We only live here temporarily. Aline works as a geologist in Sarzana or in Switzerland when she is not here. I am a documentary film director and often travel for my projects. But we will be on site to share time and experiences together when we accept people for workaway. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

  You can learn Italian from us and take part in village life. Aline knows many medicinal plants and is an expert in geology. With me, we can spend hours filosofing about indipendent cinema.

  Ayuda

  We have an olive grove with really ancient trees. We cultivate it organically and pay attention to biodiversity. There is a lot to do in the olive grove, such as repairing dry stone walls, building pergolas, inventing systems to store water, helping with the picking in late autumn or pruning in spring, etc. In front of our house we have another piece of land. There is also a lot to do, like repairing a small shed, woodcutting, cutting grass, terracing the land, etc. All what we produce is for personal consumption and Workawayers won't be helping with any produce sold.
  In the second half of June we can use some help to cut the grass in the olive grove, remove invasive cactus and finish building our sauna.

  Alojamiento

  On the second floor of our house we have a small flat for you with two bedrooms, a living room with kitchenette and fridge, a bathroom and a large terrace with a wonderful view. Our house is at the top of the hill in the medieval part of the village and was part of the old fortification wall of the village. The perfect place if you want to have peace and quiet for yourself. Of course you can eat with us.

  Montegiovi is a small village with a pizzeria. The nearest large village is 5km away. We can provide you with a bicycle to explore the area. There are beautiful bathing spots by the rivers, wonderful walks to do. There are hot water springs nearby. We go there often and you are of course welcome. When you come, we can pick you up in Grosseto or Paganico.

  When we are not working outside, Aline is working half a day as a geologist and me writing or editing my projects. So we could also create a kind of co-woring ambience. Or you can also work by your own, if you prefer. There is wifi at home.
