  Hi, I am Lynnette. My husband Henk and I live in a 9-bedroom house where we have raised 6 children. Our house is detached with an animal-friendly garden of 1,100 m2. So both the house and the garden are very large for Dutch standards. We need help to maintain the house, garden and equipment. The garden grows from march till oktober and needs attention during this period.
  
  At the moment we’re looking for help with cleaning, laundry and gardening. We prefer a couple or several friends/girlfriends. Solo travelers are welcome too.
  This summer (juli, august and september) I am looking for help with my DIY|refurbishment, maintenance projects of the house and garden and a special project (see further on my profile)
  
  My husband and I both are non smokers. We prefer NON SMOKERS.

  A large part of my life, I have lived in Amsterdam and know the city very well. When I’m in the Netherlands I sometimes go to museums, visit galleries and concerts, both classical and modern and hockey games. You are welcome to join me. Furthermore, I can teach you Indonesian cooking (I am an Indo).
  
  Last year we had volunteers from many different countries together. We mostly were with around 8 to 13 people and nationalities on the dining table. We experienced this as a fantastic atmosfeer. With a lot of them we are still in contact and new international friendships were made.

  I have 1 room for a couple and 1 room for 3 girls or 3 boys (not mixed) who are prepared to share the room and 1 room for a single volunteer:
  - Between 20-04 until 18-05-24
  - Between 03-05 untill 31-05-24
  - Between 01-08 until 31-12-24
  For 1 single volunteer:
  - Between 01-07 until 31-08-24
  We are looking for help in several fields. Couples are very welcome. I divided our need for help in 4 parts:
  
  1: From April 2024:
  - Daily Cleaning and/or cooking
  - Gardening
  - Maintenance of the house
  1A: From 20-04 until 30-06-24
  - Taking care of Harvey our dog (company, food, hugging, walking Harvey)
  
  2: Juli & August 2024:
  - We want to change a room into an appartment, with a small kitchen, shower and toilet. We are looking for help in this project.
  - Some rooms need to be repainted.
  - Some rooms need different furniture
  - I want to downsize
  - Painting outside the house
  
  3: Special projects for the whole year from april till december:
  - We want to create parkingplaces at a different location on our terrain. For that trees need to be taken down, a pavement needs to be made and it must be clearly visible where people can park.
  - We want to make changes in the house. We want to create an appartment downstairs. For that we need help in the drawing and planning of the changes. So actually someone with experience in architecture, planning and/or drawing.
  
  4: Refurbishing rooms and bathrooms:
  A big refurbishing project is planned December and January 2025. We need help in several fields. More details will be published when the plans are clear.

  My first language is Dutch. If you are interested in learning or improving Dutch or one of my other languages, I’m happy to help you. Because I will be visiting Indonesia this year, I’m learning Indonesian.

  Alojamiento

  We live in Zoetermeer in the Netherlands, in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, but close to all the fun things. We have a NO SMOKING house in a safe neighbourhood.
  Because you will be living in our house, we first want to have a call, to get to know each other.
  
  For people who help us we have 2 very large bedrooms for couples and 1 smaller bedroom for a single person.
  
  This year we want to try out the possibility to share 1 of the big bedrooms with several single workaways. For instance 3 girls or 3 boys. NB: NOT MIXED AND COUPLES DON’T SHARE the big rooms with other workaways. During the phonecall, we will make agreements about your stay. So there will be complete clearity about whether you will have a private room or a shared bedroom.
  
  You have to share the toilet and the bathroom with other people. We have a large garden around the house. In summer this is really a fantastic place to be. There are several different parts around the house, so you can choose a part of the garden with privacy. You have 24/7 access to the house, because we work with a keysafe. So you can get as much as possible out of your time with us. We have a separate fridge upstairs, which you are allowed to use. You are also allowed to use our kitchen and use our dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
  
  Food:
  We offer a dinner for the whole team between 18:00 and 21:00. If any of the team members are vegan or vegetarian, that is the basis. Breakfast and lunch are typically Dutch: bread, peanut butter, jam, sprinkles, sausage spread.
  If you don't want to eat what we offer, you can buy your own food. We do not reimburse that. There is a separate fridge for the workaway's to store your own food.
  In the Netherlands, we have 1 hot meal in the evening.

  - We live in Zoetermeer in the Netherlands, in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, but close to all the fun things: a 5-minute drive from the forest and 10 minutes from the beach. There is an indoor ski slope, an indoor go-kart track, restaurants and bars. The Hague can be reached by public transport in 15 minutes. There are plenty of museums, culture and restaurants there. Amsterdam with its very rich nightlife, numerous museums, restaurants, the famous canals, rich history and of course the "Night Watch by Rembrandt van Rijn" and the "Sunflowers by Van Gogh", is a 45-minute drive away. We also have the Keukenhof, the Zaanse Schans, Volendam, etc.
  - We have full speed wifi acces, so you can work remote.
  - Because our son is doing a journey around the world, his dog Harvey is 24/7 a member of the family again. When our son returns to the Netherlands and has his own house again, Harvey will be in our house in the weekend.
  - We don’t smoke and prefer NON SMOKERS.
