This was a nourishing exchange and it was an absolute pleasure helping Ursula around her home and her garden. I spent two weeks with Ursula, her son and her three cats. I was staying in a motor home located at the opposite end of the property and the place had all I needed. Ursula always made sure that I had enough shopping and sometimes we cooked

Ursula has a lot of knowledge about permaculture, gardening, pottery and she loves sharing that knowledge. In free time, I also had an opportunity to spend a bit of time in her pottery studio and work with the clay. Thank you again Ursula! <3 See you next time!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

My time with Ursula was amazing, and I already miss being in Ballyferriter! I was there around 10 days from mid to late September, and I wish I could've stayed longer. Ursula's land is stunning - I felt so lucky to be able to cook and bake with the fruits from her trees! We also did some planting in the gardens and she was so gracious to teach me
… read more and let me assist in her pottery studio too. I also did some household tasks like vacuuming and cooking :) It was so great to spend time with another artist and have conversations about our practices and what inspires each of us! I was able to attend a really cool projection/light show with her during culture night, and also travel to a few of the breathtaking local beaches. The caravan that I stayed in was perfect - totally cozy and had everything I needed. It was really nice to have privacy there and I loved making fires in the little fireplace at night. I hope to come back one day! Thank you for everything Ursula!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

Andrea was a great help all around, always ready to do jobs around the garden and house. She fitted in with us perfectly, cooking and sharing meals was a great help! Heaven sent! We were sad to say goodbye…. But hopefully we will meet again!
I wish her all the best for future travels and adventures

I stayed with Ursula for 4 weeks and it was a great time. Not only did Ursula and her son welcome me warmly, they also showed me the area and we did some nice tours together. A friendship developed quite quickly, with many interesting conversations, cooking together and sometimes working together in the garden. All in all, it was a great
… read more experience that I wouldn't want to miss. The work in the garden, but also small repairs and painting a shed was a lot of fun, especially since Ursula gave me a lot of creative freedom. After the work, there was always enough time to explore the region. The accommodation in the well-equipped caravan, in the beautiful large garden was made for beautiful moments in the middle of nature. The Dingle Peninsula is a great area with many spectacular landscapes, interesting beaches and historical sites. All in all, it was a great time, that I wouldn't want to miss. It was really hard for me to say goodbye to the area and especially to my host Ursula, and I very much hope that the friendship will continue and that we will meet again either in Dingle or in Germany. Thank you for everything Ursula, it was a great time with you. AndreaComentarios

Carina was the perfect workawayer for us with her knowledge of plants and gardening. She’s very reliable and hands on. Very practical and independent. She fitted in well with us, we miss her already!

I had a great time on the Dingle Peninsula! Ursula is a very warm person! I enjoyed working with her and chatting with her.
I always worked outside because the weather was lovely at this time. I have done weeding, planted flowers, painted window frames, watered plants...
The area in which Ursula lives is really very quiet, a little bit remote
… read more but very beautiful!
There are many wonderful beaches within easy cycling distance!
I was able to discover many beautiful places by bike.
There is no bus stop marked next to the house, but the bus driver always stops when you want to get on or off! It's really easy! It's about half an hour to dingle or dunquin by bus. From dunquin pier you can visit the blasket island with the ferry!
If you love nature and a peaceful place i can only recommend it!
