''We provide accomodation and food for workawayers. Please apply if you can stay minimum 1 month. Please don't apply as a couple or friends, we only accept ages younger than 30!''
Our hostel has founded in 2009 in the historical downtown of Istanbul, Turkey. Since then we are trying to provide comfortable and affordable accomodation for travelers from all around the world.
We want travelers to feel as if they are at their home. We are all like family here. We cook together and eat together, as well as sharing moments and work loads together.
Our hostel has 5 floors (5th rooftop terrace) and 10 private rooms and 12 dormitories
Located in the city center of Istanbul, we are in the middle of Asia and Europe continents. Culturally, Turkey hosts many civilizations there for our culture has many traces from previous cultures and religions. So, we are always open to meet new people from all kind of believes and ethnicity.
We are looking for volunteers with the same attitude. We need someone who is willing to be a part of our family, share the work load and be enterprising. As we are in hospitality business, we are looking for someone who is good in human relations, easy going, and warm hearted.
Smiling, caring about our guests and of course caring about our hostel is the most important thing we are expecting.
Our team has both local and foreign friends. All of us speak English and Turkish, some of our friends also speak Spanish & Russian. You will have international enviroment alongside with Turkish people who can easily introduce you to Turkish culture in every terms. We are willing to share our culture or our experience with people who are willing to take.

Our team consist of locals and international members. We all speak Turkish here. We are sure that workawayer can pick up some Turkish words, and we believe through the language someone can also start learning the culture more. Besides, we always cook Turkish food in our kitchen, and we are open to share our cuisine and teach our recipes. We don't have strict rules here so we are like family members sharing a work space together. Therefore, workawayer can find herself in a family athmosphere. We try to keep our place cozy and fun at the same time.

Tasks include:
-Interacting with hostel guests and letting them know about the events in the hostel and in the city.
-Helping us to maintain a tidy and friendly environment in our hostel.
-Helping us to inform our guest about our social media accounts.

A bed in a Dorm
In Turkish culture, we usually have big families. Having a meal all together is part of our culture. We cook Turkish food constantly. Since Anatolia was a home to many civilization and had a common history with Middle East, Greeks and Balkan countries, we have very diversed food. So we care about our couisine as a part of our culture.
