Unfortunately I did not get to know Chris as it was just Felipe who stayed at my place.
I left Felipe with my dog, home and a list of things I could use help with around the house. I had no concerns while I was away and he did an excellent job of every task we discussed. He took great care of my dog, to the extent that she became attached to him
… read more (and preferred to be with him even when I was home). I would describe Felipe as kind, skilled and very respectful. He can independently work his way through complicated home renovations tasks. Felipe’s English skills could be a barrier but he uses a translator which works well. I am grateful for his help!

Elena looked after my home, cat and dog for several weeks. I didn't worry about a thing! Elena is intelligent, responsible, energetic and an excellent communicator. She spent time with my family and also built a relationship with them that she still maintains. Elena is welcome back anytime and I am fully confident in recommending her to others.
Such a great and wholesome experience! We were supposed to stay for a couple of weeks while Jailin was away enjoying Mexico but there was a change of plans in our schedule and Jailin was kind enough to host us for longer than expected.

We were able to make connections and left Hinton with a bunch of newly made friends. We had the chance to have fun playing disc golf, riding fat bikes, going Christmas tree hunting and also having a Christmas Eve dinner together with friends!😊
Jailin's place is very cozy and comfortable, there are so many cute little details (from various plants everywhere to original drawings/pictures) which make it feel like home. If you like reading, she has a great library and a comfy armchair and couch to enjoy this activity to the max. 😊
Reece was a true sweetheart! She needed some time to get used to us but soon enough she would gladly go for walks with us and would behave very well on and off the leash. She's funny and sometimes behaves more like a cat than a dog. 😊
The things we had to do around the house included keeping the place clean, taking Reece for walks, helping with small projects like mounting pictures on walls, installing some hooks or knobs, taking care of the recycling.

And Jailin is a really kind, generous and outgoing host who went out of her way on more than a few occasions to show me around! We went on hikes, drives, rode bikes and were even lucky enough to catch the northern lights once! Her condo is cozy and aesthetically pleasing where she grows a variety of plants with all sorts of colorful flowers and vegetables. I also had the opportunity to meet her grandma and help out with her garden. She is the nicest and the most affectionate person you will meet and an awesome cook! Wouldn’t mind spending time with her in her “suite” all day!
All in all I had an amazing time and would most definitely return if I get a chance! Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to enjoy nature and the Rocky Mountains of Alberta!
