  US: We are a young family of 4 living on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC. We are avid travellers, surfers, environmentalists and have spent the 1st year of our son's life traveling the world and travelled to Chile to birth our second! We love meeting new people and believe in energy exchange as a way to discover the world and continuously learn new skills.
  
  Project scope: Back at home, in the gorgeous coastal town of Ucluelet, BC, we need some help with a few different projects.. Our hands are full with our toddler and newborn, gardens and zero-waste business and we would love a hand, or a couple hands in exchange for some accommodation,some food and sharing our local knowledge.
  
  The work is approx 5 days a week ( 25hrs a week) , which will leave you plenty of time to explore the region. We will offer a food allowance for your working days, which will allow you to prepare your meals as you please.
  
  Housing?
  You will have your own studio suite. We can host single or couples. No pets. This accommodation is walking distance to a beach, 5 min bicycle ride to the grocery store ( or 15 min walk) and 15 min drive to surf!

  We live in a destination town, there are many travellers from all over the world to meet and mingle with. We can help you learn to surf, teach you some gardening skills, inspire you to discover the eco-systems of the Pacific Rim ( there is an amazing catch & release Aquarium in our small town!), explore the trail networks ,etc. If you love nature, you will love our community.

  We will offer you a private studio suite on the property which includes a kitchen , full bathroom. The bed is a queen size bed and the space is fully furnished. For food, we are happy to provide food on days you are helping or offer you a food credit / gift card to our local grocery store so you can choose to eat / prepare your meals as you please. we respect your home privacy and only interact during working or if a planned visit or activity : )
