We, Max, Mona and Emily, are living on a medievel farm in the heart of Waldviertel, a silent area north of the Donau.
The House is terribel big and old, but we love it like that.
There is always a lot to do, so the question is not what we want, but what the Hof needs..

I spend two weeks in the village, which isn't very long by workaway standards but I felt welcome from the start. The tasks weren't meaningless, my fear about being left alone and confused was unnecessary. Physical work, fresh air, home cooked meals and artistic sense. The shortest way to describe my experience. My sister and I visisted in April and May, and we had the best time. Max and Mona are amazing cooks, and Emily taught us a really cool recipe 😊

Soland Hunter were a great help. Some people could think that we cleaned the house (and it is not a small house) but you its more like a renovation. This was my twenty fifth experience with workaway, and Max still made it easy for me. Tanja, Emily, Jamie and little Lily (or was it Lilith, I wondered but never asked...) did not make it any harder, it felt like a new old temporary home.

Herta war fast einen Monat hier. Sie ist ein Sonnenschein, humorvoll und doch Zielstrebig. Wir haben das ganze Haus geputzt, es war eher eine Renovierung. Herta hat auch das Gästehaus eingerichtet, organisiert und gemütlich gemacht. Ich traue ihr zu ein ganzes Feriendorf zu organisieren. Dankeschön.
