I stayed with Xavier and Sophie for 4 weeks in September.
It was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have wished for better hosts.
If you like to cook and have no problem with spending time on your own, this might be a great experience for you.

My work consisted of cooking lunch and dinner, setting the table, cleaning up the kitchen and helping with groceries. Sometimes I cooked for 8-10 guests (appetizer, main course and dessert) and sometimes just for them and me (main course and mostly dessert). BUT there were also days when I only had to cook once or not at all.
In addition, we often ate together, had nice conversations, I've got to know their friends and thanks to them I saw a lot of Corsica.
Moreover, it was always important to them that I was doing well and had everything I need. They also helped me a lot to improve my French.
And not to forget their lovely dog, with whom I gladly went for a walk, sometimes twice a day.
It was a great first workaway experience that I definitely won't forget.

It was a wonderful experience. Why? Well, Sophie and Xavier always looked that we feel comfortable and were very pleasant Hosts!
We cooked for them for lunch and diner. They enjoyed food from other countries (Germany in our case) meaning they are very open

sometimes we even had the evening off so we could explore the sourrounding and the near by beach.
We had a couple of meals together where we had nice chats with a glass of wine.
We can recommend this Workaway to all others out there, if we had more time on our side we would have stayed even longer 👌🏻
