Hello!
We are a young family who took over our parents' farm 1.5 years ago. We feel very much at home on this small and versatile organic mountain farmstead in the Swiss mountains at 1100m above sea level.
The farm includes various animals (cats, cows, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits) as well as a variety of meadows and pastures, a large garden and some fruit trees. All this needs careful attention and involves a lot of work. We would be happy if you would like to live and help us on the farm for a while (3-4 weeks). You will have a caravan with a view of the garden and the surrounding mountains where you can sleep and cook. We propose to eat together once a day (much of our own produce and, if bought, very mostly organic and seasonal). In summer we mainly need help with haymaking and gardening as well as childcare and food preparation. Most of the animals go to the alpine pastures at the beginning of June and are therefore no longer on the farm.
At home we speak Italian, and german and otherwise good Spanish, English and French.

Hallo!
Wir sind eine junge Familie, welche vor 1.5 Jahren den elterlichen Landwirtschaftsbetrieb übernommen haben. Wir fühlen uns in den Bündner Bergen auf 1100müM auf diesem kleinen und vielseitigen biologischen Bergbauernhof sehr wohl.
Zum Betrieb gehören verschiedene Tiere (Katzen, Kühe, Pferde, Esel, Schafe, Ziegen, Hühner, Hasen) sowie vielseitige Wiesen und Weiden, einen grossen Garten und einige Obstbäume. All dies braucht aufmerksame Sorge und beinhaltet viel Arbeit.
Wir freuen uns, wenn du Lust hast, eine Zeit lang (3-4 Wochen) bei uns auf dem Hof zu leben und mitzuarbeiten. Du hast für dich einen Wohnwagen mit Sicht auf den Garten und die umliegenden Berge, wo du dich zurückziehen kannst. Wir essen einmal pro Tag zusammen (vieles eigene Produkte und falls zugekauft, allermeistens biologisch und saisonal). Im Sommer brauchen wir vor allem Unterstützung im Bereich Heuernte und Garten sowie der Kinderbetreuung und der Zubereitung des Essens. Die meisten Tiere gehen anfangs Juni auf die Alp und sind deswegen nicht mehr auf dem Hof.
Zuhause sprechen wir italienisch, deutsch und ansonsten gut spanisch, englisch und französisch.

We look forward to meeting new people and speaking to them in different languages.
We offer shared work and social moments, be it haymaking, in the garden, bathing, making music, playing ping pong, with the animals, etc. We are two young parents with two small children. Other family members or friends are often there too. We desire an easy, respectful and thoughtful interaction between people, but also with the animals and the wider environment.

Wir freuen uns, neue Menschen kennenzulernen und in verschiedenen Sprachen mit diesen zu sprechen.
Wir bieten gemeinsame Arbeits- sowie auch gesellige Momente, sei dies beim Heuen, im Garten, beim Baden, beim Musizieren, beim Ping pong spielen, bei den Tieren, etc. Wir sind zwei Junge Eltern mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Oftmals sind Familienangehörige oder FreundInnen auch da. Wir wünschen uns einen leichten, respektvollen und bedachten Umgang zwischen den Menschen, aber auch zu den Tieren und der weiteren Umwelt.

Workawayers can sleep and cook in a simple camper van. WC and shower can be shared in the house.
We provide organic and seasonal food, mostly from our own production. Help in the kitchen is welcome.

There are limited parking spaces. The workawayer's main accommodation is a camper van with bed and kitchen. The toilet and shower can be shared in our house. --- Es gibt beschränkte Parkplatzmöglichkeiten. Die Hauptunterkunft der workawayer ist ein Campingcar mit Bett und Küche. Das WC und die Dusche können im Haus mitbenützt werden.
