In general, the shifts are organized in a way that you have a lot of free time to explore both Sevilla and even go on some short vacations. Chals even took the time to play the guitar and sing some of his OWN songs for us, which was really great.

Max was working with us for 2,5 months! He is a very responsible worker, very nice with the people, he focuses on what he´s doing giving a very high level service to our guests. What a shame, I am writing a feedback after many years...
I've volunteered for two months, sometimes they have really busy time at the hostel!! You can enjoy Sevilla from is best spot!

Mi experiencia ahi fue genial, el trato es excelente, el lugar muy lindo y bien ubicado, camas comodas, todo super limpio, buenos baños, cocina amplia y con todas la herramientas necesarias. … read more imprevistas me vi obligado a dejar el hostel unos dias antes de lo planeado pero como les avise con tiempo supieron entender y solucionarlo inmediatamente sin problemas. Espero volver pronto y quedarme muchos meses, un lugar, personas, y experiencia que llevare siempre en mi corazon. Se quedo con nosotros alrededor de 2 meses, Trabajando tanto en recepcion del Hostal como en limpieza. Siempre predispuesto, organizando comidas y conciertos para los huespedes. Gran musico, y gran cocinero, jamas olvidaremos sus milanesas para la cena de Navidad, eso si tenemos que recalcarlo :) .

Solo un detalle es que se fue antes de lo planeado, lo lamentamos mucho, por suerte nos aviso con tiempo para buscar un reemplazo, pero la vida nos pone en esta situacion, y asi tenia que ser.
Mucha suerte en tu viajes! Un placer haberte conocido, y sabes que Sevilla siempre te estara esperando.Comentário

The short time we met Alicja, we found that she was a good worker and nice but we had a deal and we agreed that she´d stay more than a month with us. We took our time to explain all the tasks she had to do, the system, the rules etc. (about 6 hours training) and we organized the shifts counting on her. After a few days, she came to tell us that
… read more the next host she was supposed to work with (in another hostel) called her to come earlier and she had to go there or she would loose her vacant.
She let us know that she was leaving only 5 days in advance, which is not very nice. We were very disappointed because we had to decline other workaway requests because of her and we had to "re-organize" all the shifts again.
In brief, our team agrees that she seemed responsible and a good worker, but she didn´t keep her word so it´s difficult for us to get that trust back.

I loved the time I had at the hostel :)
It was my first workaway, and definitely set the bar high!

The shifts are planned in a way that gives you a lot of free time, which you can use to go around in Sevilla and do whatever you want in the city.
There's always a good vibe at the hostel, thanks to the great and easygoing colleagues, and many of the guests who became friends! The hostel is located in the cool district of Triana, which is very central and close to everything.

Such a cool place. I learned how running a hostel works and picked up enough Italian to make conversation and check in guests.
