I stayed with Elfa for 19 days and helped her with organizing and packing for her move to another country.
This was my first Work away experience and I'm so grateful for Elfa who made my stay magical! She's so kindhearted and she made sure that I could enjoy beautiful Iceland when not "working". I'm gonna miss both her and þyrill, the wonderful

Nicole stayed with me for 3 weeks and it was a pure pleasure having her.
She sparkles of joy and positivity and we had both fun and did a lot of packing.
My dog also loved her and her long walks out in nature.
I would love to have her staying with me again.
Miss her already.

Glenn stayed with me for 5 weeks and helped me a lot with some boring stuff like sorting and throwing out some things and running up and down the stairs with boxes as I’m preparing to move. I would not have managed to do any of it on my own. He also helped with some computer problems and walked the dog who misses him a lot. 🐶

Anton stayed with me for two weeks and it was a pleasure having him here. He is a nice and easy going person and very willing to help with whatever was needed. He also has a good humour so we had fun, even though going through old stuff in the storage room is not normally a very enjoyable job. “We” (mostly he) sorted out my overfull storage room

Elfa is a very kind, thoughtful and generous host. I spent two weeks in her home and she introduced me to her family. I was supposed to declutter a storage room and to clean the apartment. Elfa lives near very beautiful places to walk and to ride a bike (Elga generously gave me the bike). And it was very easy to go downtown because the bus stop

… read more excellent company for me, chatting, laughing, cooking etc. I consider myself very lucky to have met him and had him here to help me. I even got to meet his parents in there short visit in Iceland which of course also was a great pleasure.
My daughters were half expecting that I would bring in the adoption papers ;)
