I live in a tiny village about 35k inland of Alicante. Three years ago i retired from dog rescue after 17 years hard slog. But i enjoyed every minute and rescued. rehabilitated, and rehomed more than 7,000 dogs and puppies. I now live alone in a big 4 bedroom villa with a pool and still have 4 rescue dogs here with me. I am hoping to start doing doggy hotel work shortly

As i live inland, its very much more old Spanish than a tourist resort. The locals are extremely friendly and we have everything you need in the village including bars and restaurants

I now live alone (69 years old) and could really do with some help with light duties in and around the house. My Spanish isn't great so I'm happy to learn more, or help with anyone wanting to improve their English.

i live in a 4 bedroom villa inland from Alicante with beautiful mountain views all around us Everywhere you look you see pine forest, grape fields almond trees etc You can see the salt lake from our house too. Guest rooms are a generous size with a huge double beds and TV The bathroom has recently been refurbished and we now have a wet room as opposed to a shower cubicle.

We live in the mountains with spectacular views and beautiful mountain walks. We overlook a salt lake too. i have transport and happy to drop people off at the local town where theres a bus service should they wish to use it.

I stayed at Angie's house for four weeks and had a great time. Even though work was sometimes difficult, Angie was considerate and didn't worry about the time. She also turned out to be an excellent cook of gluten-free recipes. The place is cozy, with a Smart TV in your room. I would definitely recommend her.

We were living with Angie for two weeks in July. Our jobs were: cutting trees, cleaning garden, swimming pool and kitchen, chop woods and clean up dogs poop in the yard. The tasks were not difficult. I had a fantastic time with Angie and the dogs. It was incredibly hard and emotional to leave. Angie is very passionate about the rescue and welfare of poorly treated dogs in Spain and the time she takes to find them new homes is admiral. It was our second workaway and we liked it. Angie and Phil are great people. We had a lot of laughs. The everyday chores were easy. Dogs were really cute and funny. We loved them so much, miss u Charly. If you want to travel to Spain,we highly recommend come to this family!
