I really loved staying with Alice, Lucia and Francesco. Alice is a very funny and smart girl and I like her a lot. Lucia and Francesco are very caring and gave me many recommendations for rome. They are also great cooks :) I had soo much freetime so I could explore many parts of the city. thank you for everything and I hope we will see each other

Lucia, Francesco and their daughter Alice are a very helpful and fun family. This was my first Workaway and I was only 18. They helped me a lot with getting around the city of Rome and introducing me to a new culture. I thoroughly enjoyed my time helping Alice with language practice and playing board games. She is very easy to get a long with and
… read more we had a lot of laughs. I would highly recommend this family as a host. Along with staying with a kind and helpful family I got plenty of free time to explore the city which was amazing. Kate is a great girl! Tidy helpful and always smiling. She is organised and indipendent and above all she has been fantastic with my child Alice (11 years). Really hope to host her again.

The Barbaros have been a super welcoming host family to me. The parents are always very busy and basically work until the evening so as the Au-Pair you get to spend about 2-3 hours per day with Alice. After some time you will get used to each other and have a great time. Her English skills are superb so you dont really have to teach her that much - its more like you are practicing so that she keeps talking English. She just started learning German so sometimes it can be hard to practice that because her English is that good.
Until 5 or 6 am you are free to explore the city, the next Metro STop is about 10 minutes by bus or 25 min by walking away. The family always suggests places you can go to or plan your weekendtrips all over Italy with you.

Annabelle has been wonderful for our daughter. She has played with her every afternoon and Alice loved it. Moreover she is helpful, nice, tidy . She knows very good English and German is mother tongue.
