I stayed at Eva’s home in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily for 9 days, and it was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life 🌟.

… read more knowledge and thoughtful perspectives about the world 🌍. Every night, we shared delicious meals 🍝 and had amazing conversations. (And yes—she’s an amazing cook too! 👩🍳)
My tasks were mainly gardening 🌿 and looking after her four dogs and one cat 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐈. The work never felt difficult—in fact, I was genuinely happy doing it. Coming from a city life, it was a very special experience to eat fresh fruits grown from the plants I personally watered and helped thrive under the sun ☀️. As a Korean, it was especially fascinating to see lemon trees, olive trees, and almond trees for the very first time 🍋🫒🌳. Eva also took me around Mazara—we enjoyed amazing food together and visited the sea 🌊. Every moment felt full of joy and peace 💛. And the animals! Her four dogs and one cat were absolutely adorable and loving 🐾. They welcomed me so warmly and made my days fun even when Eva wasn’t around. I already miss them deeply—even their barking 😭.

It was a great pleasure having Nahyeon here for 8 days. I engaged here to care for the pets and the garden during i was away in Palermo and she was the perfect fit !! With her very calm and passionate way she won the confidence and friendship of the dog and even the cat directly.

In November I spent 10 days with Eva and enjoyed my time there ! Many hours chatting while cuddle a dog or two... the dog-group is wonderful and lovely and the cat very charming. Eva had healty problems, thatswhy wi did not what we planned before - I helped more in the household and the daily tasks. And every day very delicious food with

And i did a tour by bike to the ruins of Selinunte (!!!) and a walk to Mazara - super !

Bärbel was staying with us for 10 days. Unfortunately i got sick and Bärbel had to manage everything from kitchen to garden on her own. She is a very tough and independent worker and between cooking and pets even succeeded to finished a fence. With a good sense for improvisation and humour she got around quite easy and we nevertheless had a nice
