  I am a single parent with two 14-yr old daughters. Our holidays are I July on our traditional wooden boat (13 meters, 3 cabins, 1 bathroom) in the Ionian. We are wrapping up our holidays with an amazing workawayer and now considering to look for an adventurous sailing individual who will help me on day trips throughout August around Lefkada, Meganisi, Ithaki.
  
  Even though Greek, I speak English and French. I have experience on boats since I was a young kid. Safety is critical and teaching/learning is endemic. In the winter months I am a life coach, mentor and publisher.
  
  Your experience with boating is necessary as you will help with mooring, docking, staying safe, cleaning and other boating stuff. Essentially, I have some issues with tendonitis, so you will be the one pulling the ropes, lifting the tender, and anything that needs physical strength - even though we share the chores. And there is NO need to go out in bad weather!

  As an avid boater and a life coach/mentor, I am happy to teach you everything and anything you want about boating, boats, and the sea. You will also get to visit various Greek islands in the Ionian sea. Besides the experience of living on a boat, you will also benefit from all the benefits of a day charter operation.

  I am a very engaged, relaxed and pleasant. Due to the nature of being on the boat and due to my tendonitis, your help will be depended upon.
  
  As an individual, you are an outdoor enthusiast, have prior experience of being on a boat (knots, safety, handling ropes, cleanliness - as a deck hand), are willing to help with the daily activities on board as needed to keep to boat clean and tidy. You are a fluent English speaker and social.
  
  I always tinker about on the boat with a check list of small DIY duties. If you enjoy this stuff, you will fit right in! This could be as basic as washing and drying the boat in the afternoon, scrubbing small bits of rust and repainting it, or simply organizing the ropes and keeping the boat in ship-shape condition. I consider this part of boating and part of the fun. If you do too, then will enjoy and learn a lot.

  Acomodação

  Our 13 meter traditional Greek wooden motorsailer has 3 cabins, 1 bathroom and 1 saloon where we also drive. You will have one of the cabins. Essentially consider our accommodation as camping at sea. That means we move and rock and wake up early ... Most of the times we wake up in a bay where we jump in the sea for a swim before we prepare breakfast and start the day.

  Experience spending extensive time on a boat is recommended due to the confined space and lack of a given base to call home. Additionally, you must know the basics in knots and be ready to use strength in pulling and holding ropes during our mooring and docking moments (due to my tendonitis problem I count on you for this).
  
  Regarding your free time, besides enjoying the experience at sea, the boat is large enough so you can enjoy your privacy to read, write, draw, or gaze into the horizon. And when we are at anchor, you choose what to do ashore.
