… read more world of horses. By the third day, I met Mel who cooks like a chef, and I already felt like part of the family. After just four days, Jack the dog considered me one of his mates (and I felt the same), I knew all the horses' names, and I decided to stay forever. On my last day (after feeling like I’d been there forever), I was fully recharged, my energy at 200%, and ready to face the unknown. I found the strength to leave them only by telling myself that I would come back one day. If you like being surrounded by animals, listening to classical music, meeting the most intelligent horses in the world, and being surprised every day by the wonders of life, do not hesitate to join this incredible family—it’s game-changing. They have this rare quality of being themselves no matter what, and they won’t judge you for who you are, so you can be fully yourself too. That is one of the most precious gifts someone can give you. They are, by far, the best people I met during my travels in Australia. Jasmin & Thomas are amazing people. We wish they could’ve stayed longer.
They are both such hard workers and really helped us a lot on the farm. We enjoyed sharing dinner and experiencing their cooking.
Would welcome them back here in a heartbeat ❤️❤️❤️

We just wish, we could have stayed longer! After only 4 days we already felt a bit like home.
Noe and Marie are so kind, warm-hearted and humerous that within that little time we felt like being with friends.
Their daughter Chelsey is also very nice and I had fun braiding her hair.
The tasks were just the kind we like: cutting a huge hedge,
… read more riping out dead trees and cooking for dinner. We even got the chance of cleaning horse stables which was new experience:-).
The accomodation was clean, comfortable and the view at sunrise from our bed was stunning!
The Matters are a very special family and we are thankful that we got the chance to meet and help them, the dinners we shared were fulfilled with stories about life and laughter.
We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Sometimes I feel like they're almost too nice to actually ask me to work, but I guess I've just got to be more pro-active in finding works to do around the house and on the farm! Overall was a great experience, maybe I'll come back when the weather is nicer ;)

… read more thought us a little. On the other hand, we have Noe, who thought us a lot of gardering, weeding and we spent a lot of time talking with him about actual interesting world-wide news. We both love kids and we enjoyed taking Chelsea to the beach (she really love the ocean). We also took with Chelsea our third favourite dog; Jack (also known as: JAAAAAAAAck), our little crazy cow :) We wouldn't change our experience in Australia for one which we wouldn't met them. We will go back, 100% sure. With no doubt, the best family ever. Make sure to visit them and take care of them when you go. We were so sad that we had to leave and go back to Spain but we would have stayed with them for a year at least. So genuinely nice and hard working. We thoroughly enjoyed having Brigitte and Yvonne with us and we were sad to see them go.
