Hi there! We are a Malaysian couple on a career break, trading the fast lane for a journey of slow, intentional travel—while staying enthusiastic and reliable in our contributions. We believe the best way to experience a culture is through its food and its people, valuing deep cultural immersion over standard sightseeing.
While we aspire to explore other nations eventually, we believe the most meaningful journey begins at home. Malaysia is blessed with rich diversity, yet we often remain within our own cultural bubbles. We see this break as the perfect chance to step out of our comfort zone, live with hosts from different backgrounds, and truly understand the cultures within our own country first while building meaningful relationships.
In line with this desire for a grounded life, we are particularly drawn to sustainable living and learning the "back to basics" approach. Whether it involves farming, waste reduction, DIY projects, or general eco-friendly practices, we are ready to lend a hand, share our skills, and learn from your experience.
We are easygoing yet respectful of house rules, and eager to embrace a simple, purposeful lifestyle while contributing meaningfully to your daily rhythm during our time with you. -
