    Hi everyone,

its Javi, I am a curious traveler who loves meeting new people, discovering new cultures, and exchanging stories and moments. I really enjoy to immers myself completely in the places I visit. I'm not a fan of mainstream tourism with pre-packaged experiences. I like to fully embrace the places I visit and really get to know the people.

I recently graduated in Veterinary medicine and after many years of hard study, I am taking some time off to explore. I have a very long wish list of places to visit and things to see so I'm trying to tick off the lines one by one.

I have also experience in gardening, saleing and in photography.
I am also passionate about DIY and and wooden crafts, quite skilled with my hands overall, so I hope this will be useful to my host.

Last but not least, I am a big foodie and love to cook. I enjoy trying new dishes and learning new recipes and techniques, so if I can find someone to share this passion with, I will be super happy.

I have a thousand hobbies and things I like, but I've already written a lot, so I think it's time to wrap up and catch a flight.

Thank you for reading - and I can't wait to meet you soon!

Hello! I’m an adventurous and active person who loves exploring new places and connecting with people from different cultures. I’m from Madrid and I’ve also lived in Tarragona, Salamanca, Ireland and Greece, so I’m used to adapting quickly and sharing spaces with others.

Right now I’m backpacking through Latin America; in December I’ve been exploring Peru and staying with a local friend, learning a lot about the country and its daily life.

For January and February I’m looking for opportunities in Central America, especially near the sea: boats, beach hostels or marine and coastal conservation projects, as the ocean and marine life are a big passion for me.

    Yoli speaking:
I've completed my degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in English, which has given me strong skills in communication, organisation and working with groups. For the type of projects I’m looking for, I can:
    - Guide activities and explain information clearly to guests or participants (tours, briefings, basic environmental education).
    - Create a friendly, safe atmosphere for groups, including children, families and solo travellers.
    - Adapt to different learning styles and personalities, staying patient and positive.

    Sea and travel related skills:
    - Certified diver, very comfortable in the water and around marine environments.
    - Basic experience on boats and sailing since childhood; motivated to keep learning on board and help with daily tasks and guests.
    - Happy to support beach clean‑ups, simple conservation activities, guiding or assisting on snorkelling/diving trips when appropriate.

    Hostel / daily life skills:
    - Four years living independently and in shared flats: cleaning, cooking, organising spaces and communicating with flatmates.
    - I love cooking simple but tasty meals and making coffee for others is honestly my love language.
    - I can help with reception, check‑ins, giving local tips, breakfast service, housekeeping and creating a warm, social atmosphere with guests and volunteers.

    Creative and social skills:
    - Photography (especially travel and sea/nature moments) and basic social media content (photos, short texts, stories).
    - I enjoy talking to people from different backgrounds, starting conversations and helping others feel included, which works very well in hostels and on boats.

  • Algo mais...

    Hey, Yoli again!

I’m really into photography, reading, philosophy and writing, and I love deep conversations as much as silly moments. I enjoy spaces where people can share ideas, cultures and experiences, and I’m always curious to learn something new.

The ocean is one of my biggest passions; getting my diving certification and spending time in places like Cape Verde made me realise how happy I feel close to marine life. I’m social and friendly, but I also respect personal space and quiet time when needed, and I’m used to living with people from different backgrounds.

If you’d like to know me a bit more, I’m happy to share my Instagram in private messages so you can see some of my trips and projects.
