Hello! My name is Oriana. I'm an emergency medical technician by trade, and I spent over four years serving in the Army as a combat medic. Since completing my service, I've spent my time volunteering in the Amazon rainforest and Peruvian Andes, working on permaculture, farming, and many other projects. I love living among nature (especially jungles!) and experiencing cultures completely unlike my own. The best time in my life was living in the Amazon, getting covered in mud and bathing in the river every day, climbing up trees to get snacks, and finding friendly snakes to hold!
My hobbies include scuba diving, paddleboarding, kayaking, hiking, yoga, dance, martial arts, and weightlifting, among any other adventurous activity that arises! I really enjoy getting dirty, working in physical labor, creating things with my hands, and learning anything and everything. I would like to one day build my own small home and live sustainably off the grid, so I'm very interested in learning about self-sufficiency.

Quais são suas habilidades?
Throughout high school I worked in childcare and public education, running tours and shows at science museums and zoos. I then worked for a year as a teacher, and spent four years in the Army doing a combination of medicine and manual labor. Manual labor is my specialty haha! Recently I spent a month in the Amazon rainforest working on reforestation, permaculture, and other projects like setting up rainwater collection tanks and building wells.
