Hi!
We’re Maja (26) and Rasmus (27), a couple from Sweden who is currently on a sabbatical from our jobs back home to discover new places and meet new people. I normally work as a lawyer, and Rasmus works in a tire shop as a tire fitter. However, from November to late March we’ve lived in Niseko, Japan, working a ski season. From Japan, we headed to Vietnam for a month and a bit of backpacking, and now we’re in Australia hoping to experience all the country has to offer.

We are both very active people who love skiing, biking, hiking and doing all kinds of other outdoorsy stuff. We'd love to learn how to surf, and stay active in every way we can during our visit in Australia. We are social and outgoing, and enjoy meeting new people from different places.

We are both used to sharing our space at home with others, and we always try to be tidy and respectful of our surroundings.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are both social and outgoing, with versatile work experience in different fields. I’ve (Maja) worked mostly in a legal corporate context, having graduated with a master's of law little over a year ago, and in a variety of retail jobs. However, I grew up on a small horse farm in the north of Sweden, so I have plenty of experience with different housework and outdoor labour.

Rasmus primary experience consists of 4+ years as a Tire Fitter, but he also has a diverse experience from working multiple different seasonal jobs over the past few yeas, ranging from fencing in England to working as a Daily Operations Manager at a downhill bike-park in Sweden.

Most recently, we've been in Niseko, Japan, where I worked as a Boot-fitter and Hardgoods Sales Assistant, and Rasmus as a Rental Technician.

I (Maja) love reading and don’t mind spending a night discussing your latest read. You could describe Rasmus as a bit of a car geek; he knows everything there is to know about the make and models, so if you have a cool vehicle hidden away somewhere, he’ll most definitely will want to have a look at it.

We also love staying active and working out, both at the gym and going on runs - even though we might not be the fastest.

It would be a big plus if you have a dog or a pet, as we are both animal lovers.
