We are a young international couple from Italy and Spain. We met on Erasmus in Germany and this year we have both finished our studies and graduated in our home countries. Our plan now is to travel around the world together for some months before moving on with our careers.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Veronica: I grew up in Sardinia, a beautiful island in Italy, and then I moved to the north of Italy to do my universities studies. I come from a big family and I’ve always had younger cousins to take care of or play with or just entertain somehow, and due to that I love being around children. I am also lucky to still have my grandparents around so I enjoy spending time with them when I’m home. I like to sing, to cook and to do some handicraft too: I’m very enthusiastic when it comes to trying my hand at activities that require good manual skills. I went to Erasmus in Germany and I speak English, Spanish and a bit of German. I just got my degree in medicine so this summer I’ll work as a doctor in my home town and in the future I would like to become a psychiatrist. I adapt easily to new contexts and I’m looking forward to living new experiences.

Mario: I was born in Sevilla, where I grew up. During these years, every summer, I went to Switzerland (my grandparents country) and other destinations. That provided me the will to travel and discover new countries and cultures. I’ve just finished my 4-years History degree, so I enjoy reading about foreign countries and their history, as I think it is a way to truly understand the inner mechanisms of their societies. I speak fluent English, German and Italian, and I can also speak really basic French and Swiss-German, I love learning new languages and everything that has to do with it, so I'm open to languages-exchanges. This summer, July and August, I’m working as an all-rounder in a hotel-restaurant in the Swiss Alps, so I’ve experience waitering, cleaning, preparing drinks, and helping in every way possible. I think I’m a quick learner and I’m always looking forward to improving in whatever I do, and also open to advices. I work good under pressure, and I like to interact with people, so I’d gladly work in positions in which there’s need to talk with customers. I have no fear of physical work, I’m more or less skilled with computers and I love animals and nature. To conclude, I’m really excited to have new experiences and excited to start new projects and help you with whatever you need.

We both like nature and all the activities related, specially hiking, snorkelling and cycling. We love cooking and we are enthusiastic about trying out and preparing new dishes. We like cinema, reading and I (Mario) also like video games, chess and football.
