My name is Valerie – thank you for stopping by on my profile!


I’ve just graduated from school, and before starting university and moving to a big city, I want to take some time to explore the world and learn through real-life experiences. I’m excited to discover new places, meet people from all over, and contribute wherever I can.


As a person, I’m eager to learn and always ready to try something new, whether that’s a skill, a language, or simply another way of doing things. I also enjoy taking on challenges – they help me grow and keep me motivated. At the same time, I know how to relax and enjoy the little things. My friends would describe me as open, honest, and fun to be around. Once I feel comfortable, I’m very social, full of energy, and always open for a chat. (:


I love staying active – my hobbies include horse riding, road cycling, snowboarding, and pretty much anything that gets me moving. In my free time, you’ll often find me hiking, reading a good book, or spending time with friends. I also really enjoy eating healthy and trying out new, nourishing meals for my family, friends, and myself.


Through Workaway, I hope to build new skills, gain experience, meet inspiring people, and learn about life in different parts of the world.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Even though I’ve only just finished school, I already bring a good amount of work experience with me:

- I’ve spent several months working in different hospitality businesses, so I’m used to working in fast-paced environments and dealing with people.

- I also have plenty of experience in childcare – through regular babysitting and two summer jobs that involved working with children.

- On top of that, I’ve completed an internship at a biological research center, which gave me insight into scientific work and teamwork in a professional setting.

- Also, I have just completed my internationale Bartending - Course this and the last month in Barcelona with EBS (European Bartending School). Thanks to this graduation, I learned how to work behind the bar and am more than ready to step into bartending, by day or night. (:


I am open to gain new experiences in other work fields on my travels, not only in fields I have already worked in. (:
