Hello Workaway peoples! I'm Tom, from Hawaii, recently retired. So I'm looking to do all the stuff that I should've done when I was younger - traveling around meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning new languages. I'll be in Taiwan from June 12 through the 18th 2k23 and then I'll be in Thailand for maybe a month? Hit me up if you're around at the same time and let's link up. I'm open to recommendations, hanging out whatever.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I'm a hard worker and an excellent (Have an international license) driver, especially in the snow. Native English speaker, basic to intermediate Japanese. I spent some time working at a vegan restaurant so some cooking and kitchen skills as well as bartending. I worked construction when I was younger. Mostly drywall but also some roofing and general labor work as well.
I used to snowboard competitively and also trained and competed in Kyokushin Karate.
These days I mostly do yoga, surf and run a Solar company here in Honolulu, HI. Solar design and sales are my forte.

Food! I love trying new restaurants/foods and cooking. I eat pretty clean and even vegan about 80% of the time however love a good steak every once in a while. Not a big drinker but like to grab a beer from time to time..
Netflix, Hulu and movies are my biggest vice. Who doesn't enjoy a good vege out session? I like to read and lately have been into cryptocurrencies also learning a little Java Script on my own.
