Hi there!

I'm a creative person who loves being outdoors, immersing in great stories and connecting with people over art, food and the natural world. I'm an artist and writer, but I have many interests and passions, so I always struggle to answer the question "what do you do?" because the reality is I do so many things!
Trying to find my path in life as a 'professional' has been a bit bumpy, and I just want to get my hands in the earth and feel useful... Growing food and living a slower, more meaningful life has always made sense to me and I'd love to experience this in new places, to learn and feel more expansive after a few very tough years.
Alongside my creative pursuits, I love reading, walks and wild swims, pottery, cooking and baking... so sharing these pastimes with others brings me a lot of joy!

I'm new to Workaway and would love to give my time helping other people to make their piece of the world a lovely place to be, whether thats using my arts and crafty skills, cooking and cleaning, or helping to build things or work in the garden. I'm also a big animal lover, so being around some fluffy or furry pals would be amazing!

This is a new phase of my life, and although I've done some solo travelling before, this is a different step for me which I'm really excited for. I'm a passionate and open person, and if you're up for talking about the mysteries of life and having a laugh, we'll get on wonderfully.

I'm open to learning any language, so if you're willing to teach me that would be great. I know a few words in Spanish and German, but I wouldn't say I'm even 'beginner level' really.. not yet!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a range of skills, both brainy and practical!

I studied art and have always been quite crafty, so I'm good with anything creative like painting and decorating, or making things with kids.

I can cook, bake (I make really good cakes!) and clean, and I've got some DIY skills too, having helped renovate a bar and my old house. I love being outdoors and although I'm no expert gardener, I like getting my hands in the soil, pruning bushes, planting and digging, so I'd love to learn more... I also love animals, so looking after pets or farm animals would be great -- I have some experience with looking after cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens.

I'm a fast learner, and what I don't know I'm sure I can pick up quickly! I've done a lot of jobs that require teamwork, and I'm a good communicator who is used to managing their time. If I don't know something, I'm not afraid to ask questions, and I like to have a positive approach to life so even when little things go wrong, I'm able to remember the bigger picture!

I'm also good with words (writing, editing, proofreading) should you need any help with something like that!
