Hi, I'm Tiezheng Li, and I come from Harbin, which is situated in northeastern China. My hometown is known as the “Ice City" due to its winter temperatures that can reach below -30 degrees Celsius.

I am a self-employed brand consultant specializing in decoding consumer insights and converting them into actionable product and marketing strategies for brands. In addition to my job, I host a podcast series discussing the business inspiration behind different lifestyles. So far, I have done 20 episodes and talked with people from various backgrounds. Among them are Polaroid collectors, artwork investors, flower shop entrepreneurs, Magnum photographers, etc.

I started my traveling adventure a decade ago when I studied in France. I met people with various backgrounds and immersed myself in diverse cultures. This experience ignites my passion for travel that goes beyond sightseeing. Diving deeper and connecting with locals is an invaluable asset during the trip. Starting in 2023, I began to try to live in different countries for some time every year and participate in various projects during my stay to better understand the culture of a nation and enrich my life experience.

In 2023, I worked as a handyman in the French countryside to help a nearly 100-year-old architect build a medieval Gothic castle to help him realize his dream. In 2024, I went to Thailand to participate in a project that combines meditation, yoga, neuroscience, and sustainable agriculture and helped the project team build a base from scratch.

These experiences have allowed me to break through my original self and genuinely have a deep connection with local residents and different people worldwide.

For me, life is made up of different moments of experience. That's why I'm always inspired to seek a different style of life and connect with cute human beings from various backgrounds. I like to immerse myself in new experiences such as environmental and cultural sustainable protection, farm or homestays, physical or mental health experiences, etc.

I hope that when I am old, I will not regret not having the courage to try and explore life.

- Professional Skills
9 years of working experience in multinational companies in account management, consumer research, social media marketing, and executing a customized brand and marketing strategy to increase sales volume, market share, and relevance in the marketplace.

- Volunteering Experiences
Project 1: Building a Medieval Gothic Castle in rural France
As a volunteer, my daily tasks included selecting suitable stones from the rubble and placing them in the right spot, mixing mortar from sand and lime, assisting with carvings using various tools, and help cleaning the kitchen and bedroom. The volunteers also took turns cooking every day.

Project 2: A project that combines meditation, yoga, neuroscience, natural building, and ecological gardening in Thailand.
As a volunteer, I was in charge of building a wood house, cutting and carrying wood, and helping with various other repairs. Daily tasks also included cleaning the kitchen or toilet. Apart from work, I also participated in yoga, meditation in the morning, and talking circle at night.

- Other Skills
Social media marketing, teaching languages (Chinese), building, cleaning, general maintenance, woodcutting, cooking (Chinese food and simple Western food ), and video making.

1. Educational background: I achieved a master's degree in MSC in Innovation, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. My biggest gain from these two years of study is "human-oriented design thinking" which taught me how to design products and services from a human perspective.

2. Travel experience: I am an experienced traveler who has been to more than 18 countries and 40+ cities outside China. That means I have lots of interesting stories to share if you are interested :)
