Hello there! My name's Alberto :)(:

I'm somebody who uses WorkAway for better learning the art of living off-grid and connecting to people and initiatives on the same path.

I've actually more experience than this account shows, a bit because I've been already using WorkAway in the past and then I cancelled my account and another bit, because I also had a good share of experiences outside of WorkAway (most of them).

So, I basically I would say that I've gathered a basic skill-set in permaculture, building houses out of natural materials, reparations of various kinds and taking care of domestic animals like cats and dogs.

And I'm especially proficient in recognising edible plants and mushrooms (at least in the countries I've been for longer time until now), naturopathy and TRE (Trauma Release Therapy).

Outside of this, I'm very good in finding the essence and core of things and therefore often able to simplify concepts. Also, should you need help with a website and/or some kind of "multimedia idea", I've gathered some skills in that field as well, because of the past I carry with me in most places.

Some times, I'm travelling with my girlfriend, but this is not always the case. Whenever is the case, I'll let you know, of course. She's creative, very emphatic with animals and has a background in different fields of social works. Other than that, she's interested in learning all kinds of handicrafts, DIY and is good re-envisioning spaces and making little artistic wonders out of neglected corners of houses and so on.

Moreover, I'm often travelling with my car, which is good for off-road, so I heard that can be quite helpful at times.. ;)

Let's see:

In my free time I like to play the handpan, lose myself somewhere in nature, lucid dreaming, breathwork, yoga, being intermittently lazy, creating my own homeopathic/anthroposophic medicines (if the instruments are available, of course), finding awesome rough and rare gemstones in unsuspected places. And, of course, being inspired from things I don't yet understand ;)
