Hello, my name is Takumi Ueda, a 23-year-old from Japan.
I am planning to visit Estonia on a working holiday visa starting this November and am looking forward to staying for about one year. I am very excited about the opportunity to experience the wonderful Estonian culture and lifestyle with local people like you. I am currently learning English and am eager to actively engage in learning English and other languages during my stay.
I have a strong passion for food and nutrition. I have studied at a university for four years to become a registered dietitian and hold a qualification as a registered dietitian. With my extensive experience working in the food and beverage industry, I have developed a great love for cooking.

I am also a big lover of nature. I have a deep interest in sustainable food culture that coexists with nature. My family owns rice fields and large vegetable farms back home, and my grandparents and mother are farmers, so I have practical experience in agriculture.
I am a hardworking, responsible, and friendly person. I am eager to share my knowledge and skills, and at the same time, I am excited to learn from you and contribute to your project.

My skills and what I can offer

Culinary Arts & Nutrition:
I have a registered dietitian qualification and a strong knowledge of nutrition. I have extensive experience working in innovative restaurants specializing in Japanese, Italian, and French cuisine, and I absolutely love to cook. I am eager to share my culinary skills and learn about local ingredients to create delicious meals.

Agriculture & Gardening:
While I don't work as a professional farmer, I have hands-on experience helping my family on our farms, including both vegetable fields and rice paddies. I am comfortable with all stages of the process, from preparing the soil and planting seedlings to the final harvest. I am very keen to learn about sustainable farming practices.

General Help & Proactive Attitude:
I am a proactive and reliable person who is always ready to help. I am willing to assist with various tasks including general garden work, household chores, and other daily duties. I am a quick learner and enjoy taking on new challenges in any field.

I love staying active and enjoy running and playing sports. I'm always up for any kind of physical activity, which helps me stay energized. In my free time, I also love listening to music, which is a great way for me to relax and get into a good mood.

I'm also a big fan of Iwami Kagura, a traditional Japanese dance art from the region where I live. I'm fascinated by its powerful performances and rich cultural history.
