Hi, myself Stephen!
I'm in my 30s, have been a backpacker and bikepacker, love traveling and astronomy. I'm a documentary film maker & photographer by profession. I have been a Workawayer myself for years and now me and one of my friends are opening up an Eco Campsite in a beautiful and small tribal village in Meghalaya, which is just 40 minutes drive away from Guwahati city, Assam.Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

What are we looking for: All creative heads are welcomed here who can help develop our small campsite with creative builds and designs, murals and art projects. Also, we would be thankful if you could give at least half an hour a day for the village kids to teach them something new as a friend, informally. They are very introvert in general and being from a remote village have hardly much knowledge of the outside world. We are looking for creative eco projects including eco DIY & building projects.
It's a small property of less than an acre area and we are looking forward to make it an attractive eco tourist spot and also to make this small village a tourism village so that the locals can also earn something out of it.
Photos will be updated soon, we've just started working on this camp.
If you think you actually want to volunteer for us with a generous heart, please ping us on what your thoughts are and in what way you can help.Idiomas

You'll get a tent with a beautiful view. We accept couples too so long as you commit to work during the work hours.
4 hours a day, 5 days a week. You can eat one meal and breakfast with our staff, whatever they cook and eat. You can also cook your meal if you wish to, vegetables are cheap in the nearby village.Algo mais...
I'm very flexible. I've been a Workawayer myself and I know how it is :) So on your free time you can go for treks in the hills or fields, go for a village walk, spend time with the kids, go fishing, or go to Guwahati city and enjoy your time. I'll try to arrange a cycle for you if you wish to have one. The area is Bortle 2-3, in dark sky grade and hence when clear, you can have some nice stargazing nights. We might have a telescope set up at our campsite soon.

Airtel 4G works. Data is very cheap in India, like 3$ will give you 1.5GB data every day for 28 days with free calling across India. We are located in a remote village, and the electricity is not very relaible, so can't assure non stop power to your devices when there is a powercut. We will have basic solar charge system for your phone though.
