Hello everyone! I am Kaki from Hong Kong. 🙆🏻‍♀️Currently, I am looking for a workaway experience from around 19-25 June, 2025 (1 week), which can be related to the Hostel, Guesthouse, or Art / Architecture / Design related projects like building, construction, and interior decorating. In the future, I wish to own my traveler guesthouse/hostel, here I want to prepare for my goal!

I am an open-minded and cheerful person. I believe that when I travel with an open heart, unexpected goodness will happen. Exchanging ideas and sharing stories are my favorite parts during my travels. As for me, Happiness is only real when shared, and diversity brings innovation. If possible, I would like to learn a bit local language, learning an extra language helps to open a door to culture.

I also have an art and design background, therefore I would love to help with any art project!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I can work as a hostel/guesthouse receptionist, helper, events organizer, and social media helper. I am good at customer service (8 years of full-time customer service experience) , self-motivated, and approachable. I can help with tourists, receptionists, help to organize space, and events, as well as provide cleaning work, gardening, cooking, help in camp, farm, babysitting, housekeeping, preparing breakfast. etc.

I can also help with Art & Architecture projects. I studied Visual Art and interior Design for my entire school life and Uni. I can help in space renovation, wall painting, space planning, craftmanship, artwork creation, and sewing (I can use sewing machines).

Worked in an international company, as a customer service specialist in Hong Kong for 6 years and event producer for 3.5 years. My duties are connecting customers from different parts of the world, working as a mentor, and offering internal training. I am good at approaching customers, knowing their needs by giving them the best suggestions. I enjoy my work a lot because I can stay connected with different people and I love the multi-cultural environment.

Before working in customer service, I worked as an interior designer after I graduated from University majoring in Environment and interior design. Later, I decided to have a working holiday experience in Germany, I ended up spending 15 months there, I traveled and worked different jobs and did volunteer work in Europe. These experiences taught me to adapt quickly to various working patterns, and helped me raise my communication skills with diverse teammates around the world, which is one of my Passion - meeting different people globally! So far I have visited more than 47 countries.

Starting from 2014 to the present, I had four wonderful workaway experiences in Germany, South Italy, and Romania, related to house renovation, hostel and guesthouse helper. Please refer to my hosts’ references for details. The reason why I am in Workaway is because I enjoy experiencing different lifestyles, cultures, and friendships through divisive jobs. This is a life lesson and it could expand my potential to handle challenges.

In my free time, I love travel. When I have my solo trip, I like to do Couchsurfing, it always brings me unique local experiences and life-long friendships. My hobbies are handcrafting, hiking, cycling 🚵‍♀️ , yoga (🧘‍♀️I am a beginner and I love it), and doing the renovation of my home. I enjoy spending time enjoying nature with friends 🌞.
