I am 22, my name is Solveig and I’m curious about many things.

I love art, mainly fine arts and music. I went to a fine arts school in France for 3 years where I experimented with ceramics, 2D animation, video making and sound design. I entered the art world with drawing. When I was a child my mom would force me to go outside because all I wanted to do all day is draw at my little art table.

Later I discovered collages which now take a significant part in my drawing book, mostly when I travel, to keep track of things I see and images I stroll by. I take my sketchbook everywhere with me, in case I want to sketch something from my surroundings. I noticed that sketching the things I see helps me stay more present and remember better the souvenir than taking a photo.

I also went to a music school, but the thing I enjoyed most was to play with others. I sing and I love to share this passion with other musicians that often have a completely different relationship with music than me.

I am also passionate about sports, it makes me feel alive. I love to do rock climbing and the feeling of heights. I enjoy dancing, it helps me express myself with my body in a different way than any other art forms. I sometimes swim and I love the feeling of my relaxed body after swimming. I never found this sensation elsewhere.

I have always been quite shy by nature, but since high school I have met beautiful people. These encounters have helped me grow and gave me the will to meet lots of beautiful human beings, like you !

Another thing that I love is learning. Since childhood i have always loved to learn and it showed in class. Beyond studying, I have always loved learning new skills and loved to learn to better use my hands. I enjoy the process of learning, but I also love sharing what I have learned and helping others along the way.

I have built all these interests over the years and I want to build them all through my life. I hope traveling and helping through workaway will help me broaden my interests and to build a project in a wonderful community !

Quais são suas habilidades?

Hello, my name is Clément. I’m a 23-year-old French guy, deeply passionate about music and skateboarding.

I worked as a sound engineer in a small bar in France for two years. Now, I want to travel, discover new ways of thinking, and explore different ways of playing music. That’s why I decided to go to South America. My parents told me that it’s a wonderful place, with many friendly and welcoming people.
I speak French, English, and a tiny bit of Spanish, but I wish to learn it as fast as possible!
I also wish to meet some musicians to learn and hear the Latin music I like so much. I play bass guitar since my childhood and have played in many bands, from metal to jazz fusion. The music that I like the most is the progressive and psychedelic style, where many different influences are melted together to create unique and often strange things.

Sometimes, I need to get out of my cave to sweat a bit. So, as a teenager, I discovered street skateboarding and practiced very hard every time I could. I also enjoy swimming, and I’m not afraid of doing physical activities, work…

By traveling, I want to experience a new way of living. After 5 years of working in a big town let’s get a simple bag and go with the flow.
