Hi There! I'm Sera and I'm solo backpacking South America for a year. I started my trip in Santiago, Chile in November 2025 and am working my way north.

After 10 months of being on the move I'm looking to slow things down a bit, connect with a community, and hone my Spanish language skills.

I'm bold, sociable, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and independent. I'm always eager to spend time outdoors, get my hands dirty, crack jokes, and make new friends.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a culinary arts degree and spent most of my career working front and back of house in restaurants & hotels. I’ve also had a short stint as a substitute public school teacher and worked on a small organic farm for 3 seasons growing produce and cut flowers and raising chickens for eggs and meat.

I prefer work that is hands on, active, and collaborative.

We have spent a month with Sera and Matt from mid-June to mid-July. They are a couple, friendly and very sociable and they like the fysical challenge of working outside and they love to get things done. We found them to be really flexible and good humoured. Highly recommended.
