My objective this year is to be more in tune with nature and people.

As a second year french Canadian medical student, I am taking a year off to travel some parts of the world, starting in Ecuador in November.

I just finished my first pilgrimage in Spain (Camino de Santiago : C. del Northe, C. Primitivo). After walking everyday for 31 days, I learned how to be more in tune with nature and it's where I want to put my energy this year. Learn how to nurture and be nurtured by nature; either by taking care of animals, plants, kids or to do hiking.

I love getting to know people, it's where I draw a lot of my energy. Either by learning about ways of living or hearing people's stories. On the flip side, I also do need my personal space, to read, draw, meditate and write.

Wherever i'll work, i'll want to get to know the place and the people; see the beauty in it and the philosophy of the people living there.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Photography : I am an amateur photographer; i love expressing myself or other's visions through this art form. I have in the past photographed mostly animals but also people, events, sceneries.

Gardening : Although I have never worked in a farm, I took care of my childhood home's garden with my mother from as long as I can remember. I have learned, through my 30+ houseplants as well, how to be attentive to plant's needs and would consider myself to have a green thumb. Plants are a very important part of my life.

Kids : I have worked as a camp counsellor in the past. Organizing activities, taking care of kids and teaching kids is something that i've become very good at and love doing.

Fishing : I fish avidly on the east coast of Canada, my ancestors having all been fishermen. I can fish small and big fish as well as clams.

Animals : I have a cat and I have learned to be attentive to animal's needs and take care of them, nurture them.

Medicine : as a medical student, I am confortable to take care of humans/animals - monitoring their health, using medical jugement.
