Hi! My name is Samantha (most people call me Sam, though) and I'm so happy to be writing this description! My husband and I are new to Workaway (hence, no reviews yet) but are happy to provide other information so you trust our validity! We have called Wilmington, North Carolina home for about 10 years now, despite traveling to different parts of the world here and there, and even living in the US Virgin Islands for a few years!

I am a highly energetic, positive woman who is passionate about connecting with other people, movement and gaining knowledge. Journaling, yoga (both teaching and practicing), getting my hands in soil, hiking, volunteering, being silly, meeting new friends, cuddling with animals, sunshine on my skin and smiles from strangers are all things that bring me a whole lot of joy. I have been teaching yoga for nearly 10 years and hope to utilize this gift while traveling the world in 2025. I have exceptional customer service skills ( I have worked in hospitality and tourism for about 11 years now!) Making people feel seen, heard, and safe is one of my favorite things to offer the people I encounter. I cannot wait to meet you! (:

Quais são suas habilidades?

Sam graduated from the University of North Carolina- Wilmington with a degree in Nursing. People are her jam. She has been teaching yoga for nearly 10 years and is an E-RYT 500 with over 3000 teaching hours. She has strong communication skills including active and empathetic listening. She is skilled in navigating social media, content writing such as blog posts and email campaigns. Her customer service skills are unmatched and considers engaging with all different kinds of people and building community, some of her greatest passions.

Arden has spent most of his life working in the emergency medical field and as a firefighter. He is highly skilled in all things "emergency" and is the calming presence you want to be around when there are challenges. His passion to create, learn and engage is contagious. Arden graduated from the University of North Carolina- Wilmington with a degree in Environmental Science concentrating in conservation. He has basic handyman skills and is one of the fastest learners you will ever meet.
