Hi everyone!
I'm Roberta from Italy (and half Ukranian) and I'm 22. I would describe myself as a curious person, always looking for new experiences that allow me to grow, learn, and connect with people from all over the world. I've been teaching Italian online as a tutor for three years now, and this journey has given me the chance to meet so many amazing people from different cultures. Every time I manage to connect with someone, I feel a rush of joy and adrenaline. It's such an incredible feeling that keeps me motivated every day to give my best.

I love putting my heart into everything I do because it gives me a sense of fulfillment, and I'm always eager to try new things (that’s exactly why I’m here on Workaway). The idea of contributing to a project, learning new skills, and being part of a community really excites me.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, playing volleyball, and listening to music. I also love spending time with friends, whether it's chatting over a good coffee or engaging in more productive activities that help me grow.

I can’t wait to embark on new adventures, meet amazing people, and create unforgettable memories together :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

During the summer, I worked in a restaurant, which gave me valuable experience in being polite, kind, and sociable. I had the opportunity to interact with customers from different countries, speaking in various languages such as English, German, and Spanish. This job taught me how to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and adapt to different situations with a positive attitude.

For the past three years, I have been teaching Italian to foreigners, which has further strengthened my social skills. Teaching requires adaptability and flexibility since every student is different, and I’ve learned how to adjust my approach based on the person in front of me. This experience has helped me become more patient, understanding, and open-minded.

I also did a short internship in a kindergarten and elementary school, where I learned how to engage with young children, manage chaos, and create a fun and enjoyable environment for them. It also taught me the importance of instilling respect and good values in kids while making learning an exciting experience.

I believe I’m good at problem-solving and always ready to take on any task. There’s nothing that stops me. I love trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone (reason why I love solo traveling experiences as well)
