Hey - My name's Jon and I'm a builder who's looking for a change of atmosphere and the chance to learn something new. I have a background in art and construction and would welcome the opportunity to offer my skills in exchange for some new experiences in a different part of the world. It's always an adventure building things from the ground up and then seeing them grow on their own. I'm not afraid of getting dirty (I actually prefer it) and feel that good food and drink tastes much better after a hard day's work. Jon is a very skilled builder. He will help you plan projects and discuss options and budget. He did a vast array of projects for us over the months he was here.
He works very well alone, with an assistant or as part of a team.
He is very well organized, thanks to Jon our workshop is the best organized its ever been.
I would highly recommend Jon.

Spent about a month with the team this winter and had a really nice time. The various buildings, studios and surroundings provide plenty of opportunities to explore and space to relax. They are a busy family with plenty of plates spinning between daily life, work and the upkeep/renovation of their house. Jon was here for about a month, building a the traditional sauna on the hillside based on the traditional Finnish design. Jon works hard, thoroughly, accurately and independently and is good company to have around. Allover a great guy! It was great having Jon in here. I sincerely hope he stops by again on his many travels.

Rugged beauty comes at a price.
