I’m hard working, curious, deep feeling, and generally have little to say. I enjoy music a lot. Also walking outside, learning about local plants, indigenous/cultural knowledge, tending plants, eating on the kitchen floor, and conversations about what we are learning in life while we clean the kitchen.
I love having a private space to be entirely in my own world at times- (Walking in an outdoor expanse, or a room with a clean floor)- often morning and evening, but generally some space to retreat into.
I love being in relationship with food that heals n nourishes many aspects of our beings. Cooking is a form of creative expression for me,, i’m a ‘scrappy chef’, loving to grow and forage with native/wild plants to acknowledge our interconnectedness.
In these work-trade situations, i notice my main area of growth is in communicating my needs and creating clarity around expectations. I enjoy having a check-in style clear conversation around our trade at an interval. Lets maintain a feedback loop :)
In any exchange i'm looking to challenge myself both internally and physically. I am challenging my beliefs of myself and perceptions of the world. Im looking to spend time in some form of relating to nature, learning others lifestlyle/culture-traditions, sharing recipies, cooking together, learning about local foods and medicines, working on a project together, practicing advocacy, and promoting self tending (mental, nutritional, physical, spiritual,,).
Im excited to see what connections i make while on this journey in making sense of this world! i have lots to learn!

cooking (food as medicine style- lots of practice in Food as Medicine + Ally, Wild crafting, Preservation, cooking for groups, etc.), Growing food, Construction (traditional western and alternative building with Local Resources), General house maintenance (i’m handy and interested in understanding how things function), Good with caring for Animals/pets, Cleaning, Caretaking, Drawing/painting/beautifying, etc.
Generally helpful, not needing much direction on a task, often seeing what needs doing and fitting in. I often also think about how to do it efficiently too.
