Hello there!

I’m Pablo, 23, and at this point in my life, I just want to keep learning about the world, about myself, and about how to keep a campfire going without accidentally inhaling half the smoke. I’ve done some volunteering in Iceland and Norway, and there's nothing better than being out in nature, meeting people from all over, and realizing that life’s pretty great when you’re not constantly surrounded by the chaos of big cities like Madrid, my home city.

I’ve always loved animals, especially reptiles. I used to have two geckos (a leopard and a crested) and a corn snake. At one point, I almost studied biology instead of psychology, but then I saw all the chemistry involved and decided to prioritize my sanity. Still, my love for nature and wildlife stuck around.

In Norway, I really enjoyed farm work. There’s something rewarding about working with your hands and seeing the results, especially when you’re surrounded by nature. In Iceland, I did some administrative work with book registration, which was a nice change. I also hiked almost every day, and it was such a peaceful experience. I’m open to trying all kinds of things, but right now, I’m especially drawn to sailing, but I'm not exclusively looking for just that ;)

(I also hold a driving license in case it's needed! )

Right now, I’m looking for experiences that feel a little more real, less screens, less rushing around, and more of that simple, natural way of living. If you need someone who’s up for learning, helping out, and always ready to jump into whatever needs doing, I’m your guy!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am very familiar with excel, customer care, and with cleaning/organizing tasks. While I was in college, I worked for two years at the college's museum, meaning that I used to take phone calls, help visitors, and take care of some basic excel duties. I also used to ride horses not long ago so I'm comfortable and suited with learning how to take care of animals.

I used to be the treasurer of the International Student Advisory Board back in college, so I'm familiar with keeping track of budgets and monitoring it. While I was studying, I also got the chance of becoming a spanish tutor, helping other college students with their obstacles in spanish coursers, as well as volunteering with translating transcripts for Youtube interviews.

I may not have any experience in working in farms but I love animals and I'm a very quick and dedicated learner. I'm also not a great cooker at the moment, but I do know a couple of basic recipes and I could learn from there without a problem ;)

Something I didn’t mention before is that I love physical outdoor activities and yoga/meditating too (I’m a beginner). I have practiced a lot of different sports in the past couple of years (fencing, tennis, skiing, swimming) so I’d be more than glad to join you at any sport or activity you like to spend your time with, even if I have never practiced it before!

Besides animals, I also have adjacent interests in plants, especially in their medical properties!

In terms of reading interests, I usually read a lot about anything related to psychology or philosophy ;)
