Hello Reader,

My name is Oliver, a 24 year old LA native. I graduated from university 2 years ago, and since then have been looking for experiences to enrich my understanding of life. I have traveled around Europe, as well as lots of the national parks in my home state of California. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, and video games with friends.

I am generally quiet, calm, and compassionate. I have always taken care of those close to me, and love being an older brother to my two younger siblings. I am introspective, and enjoy talking to my friends about the interaction of the individual with culture.

I am looking for a more remote location to reconnect with nature and further my mindfulness practice. LA was a wonderful city to grow up in, but it can be loud an overwhelming. Id like to spend more time someplace quiet, slowing down, and enjoying the present as it flows through us. I am a period of transition in my life, and am hoping some time of solitude will help illuminate the path forward.

I have lots of experience working with children. I have always taken care of my younger siblings, and have volunteered to supervise children at summer camps.

I am a skilled cook. I have been cooking for myself since high school, and have worked as a line cook in a restaurant.

I am comfortable working my hands. I used to be involved with woodworking and engineering clubs high school, and have no problem with construction projects.

I am also very good with tech. I have spent lots of time on the internet, and often troubleshoot electronic problems for my friends. I have a basic understanding of computer programming as well.
