Hi there, I'm Nina :-)

After 5 years working as a social worker in a hospital on a psychotherapeutic ward, I decided to take a break to recharge my batteries and sort myself out. I will be traveling through New Zealand (mainly), Australia and Thailand for the next few months and looking for some volunteering along the way.

I love spending time in nature and living a sustainable lifestyle. I am enthusiastic about many differents things like hiking, camping, photography, art, animals, good food, sports - for example yoga, roundnet or surfing (I am still a beginner but would like to improve my skills). Above all I really enjoy hanging out with people I love - sharing moments and thoughts, cooking, playing games, dancing or doing sports together.

I am really excited to gathering some new working and life experience!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a social worker, currently working in a psychiatry on a psychotherapeutic ward, where I accompany, support and consult people during their therapy. I also lead an experiential therapy and social skills training.

I would describe myself as a positive, social, empathetic and adaptable person. I have worked in various jobs in the social sector before (for example kindergarden, young welfare, disability assistance, school, ...). I have a team spirit and have always lived in shared flats (currently with 4 people) and really appreciate this family atmosphere. I am open and motivated to learn new things. I would like to gain new and different work experience, especially more hands-on work on a farm (as a balance to my current job) :-)
