My name is Nereida, and I am a 36 years old Spanish woman travelling the world, trying to become a better person by experiencing new things and connecting with new people. I am a responsible and healthy person who enjoys doing sports like hiking, volleyball, surf…although my passion is martial arts (I'm a karate black belt!).

I am an environmental scientist, but I did all kind of different jobs. I have spent the last 8 years travelling, working and doing volunteer jobs in different places (Australia for 3 years Portugal, Scotland, Thailand, Spain...)

I am a calm person who loves meditation, reading, and have an active and healthy lifestyle.

I take my job very serious and get along with people easily.

➡️ Gardening and general maintenance: I have experience doing practical work such as repairing fences, maintaining trails, sanding wood, removing brush from protected habitats.

➡️ Cleaning and housekeeping: I have experience working as a housekeeper in hotels, mine sites, retreats centers, etc.

➡️ Cooking: I like cooking. I have cooked for over 40 people during weekend events in other workaways.

➡️ Martial arts teaching: I am a karate black belt. I also train boxing and muay thai.

➡️ Animal care: I love animals, and have experience taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, donkeys...

➡️ House sitting: I've done it before and would love to take care of your house, plants and animals :)

➡️ Copywriting, Social Media and Content Writer: I am a copywriter and can write texts for your website, blog, social media, etc.

➡️ Biodiversity and Conservation work: I am an environmental scientist and volunteered for an environmental charity in Scotland. I had to carry out a wide range of practical conservation tasks and also some "on-site work" as monitoring the spread of non-native species in wildlife reserves and monitoring an osprey's nest.

➡️ Language practice: I am a Spanish native speaker. I can help you if you want to learn or practice Spanish.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Martial arts (karate specially), meditation, cooking, I speak English and native Spanish. I have worked as a housekeeper, receptionist, boxing and karate instructor, personal trainer, salesperson, stunt specialist, nature guide ... I have been cutting trees, fixing fences, maintaining trails and much more for the last years.
