I am a friendly and proactive person with a keenness to learn. I'm a hands on person and would suit a job where I’m getting stuck in.

Before travelling in February 2025, I worked as a facilities assistant for a county cricket club, my job role there varied from general tidying to maintenance tasks to garden work. I am highly organised and take great pride in my work. I’ve had lots of varied jobs in the past.

I have volunteered in a few different places on my travels. The first was at a dog shelter in the Sacred Valley in Cusco, Peru - which involved taking care of the dogs, horses and a donkey, as well as gardening and tidying. I also cooked meals for a large number of people.

Another role was in a hostel in Nazca, Peru. Tasks involved checking in and out guests. Assisted guests with any of their needs and giving tour information. Housekeeping / cleaning rooms and ensuring everything is ready for the next guest. Managing online booking system, using various platforms like booking.com, hostelworld and AirBnb. Corresponding with guests via email and WhatsApp.

I also volunteered for 2 months at a community north of Quito, Ecuador. Tasks involved working in the gardens and vegetable gardens. Caring for the dogs / cat and donkey. Cleaning communal areas. Construction of a natural structure using adobe and other recycled materials. Preparing and cooking meals for everyone.

I am eco conscious and feel as though my values reflect this. I’m a big animal lover, I have volunteered at a farm sanctuary in the UK and would love to do more work involving animals.

I can be quite adaptive so with a bit of training would love to learn something new if given the chance.

What brings me happiness is connecting with different people and seeing what brings them joy. A smile is very infectious!
Seeing kindness in the world makes me happy.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have experience in a few different fields.

In my younger years I trained as a vehicle mechanic in the military. Although I don’t actively use these skills anymore, I’m still interested in how things work and seeing if I can fix any issues.

I have experience in sales. Customer-facing.
I’ve done a bit of restaurant work. Both front of house and back of house.
I have customer service experience, so am computer literate and can use different forms of communication efficiently.

I’ve taught English at a remote school on the Thai / Myanmar border. I loved getting the children involved and enthusiastic in class.

Experience with animals, hostel work and gardening and community work.

I enjoy physical work. At times, my facilities assistant role was physical - in the wet season, the ground flooded, so this meant a big clear up operation! I have also operated a JCB telehandler and a tractor during this time. I hold different licenses due to my role in the military.

As previously mentioned, I have some experience working at a farm animal sanctuary - I am more than happy to muck out, fill water and food containers and assist in any other tasks.
