We enjoy lots of work, including but not limited to outdoors and hands-on work as we have experience on a farm. We like to hike, swim, explore new places, and meet new people!
Descrição
We are two adventurous people from Canada taking the year off after graduating high school. We are excited to fill it by gaining new experiences in other countries, and would like to kick our journey off in Europe. Natalie has been to Europe before on vacation, but neither of us have experience travelling for volunteering before. We are curious about Norway to visit the mountains and hiking it has to offer, especially the northern lights. We are interested in the UK because of the opportunity to see the bustling city of London and meeting new people, and seeing the landscapes and old castles in Scotland.

Quais são suas habilidades?
We have experience working on a vegetable farm, meaning we have worked with weeding, harvesting, packaging produce, and tending to plants. We have done some building work as well like installing greenhouse lights, and have worked outdoors in all weather types. We work well at following tasks and instructions, and can take initiative. We have worked with customers and handling money while running our market stand as well.
We also have plenty of experience camping in the wilderness, involving carrying heavy gear across long rough terrain and learning how to be outdoors. We both have played sports, including ice hockey, meaning we work well as team members.
