Hello!

My name is Molly and I am a 21 year old student from Scotland. Workaway seems like the perfect opportunity to lend a helping hand and explore the world - I have a lot of free time over the summer as a student and I wish to make the most of it! I have just completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand, which really sparked my interest in travelling and meeting new people from all walks of life. I love being in nature, so any work outside would be fantastic and I am open to learning any new skills necessary in order to help. I am a huge animal-lover having grown up with dogs, cats and riding horses, therefore I feel that I have ample skill in caring for animals. Additionally, I have studied Social Anthropology as a degree, so I hope this teaching in acceptance and cultural sensitivity would me adapt in any culture and I am open to try to learn another language as best as I can!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am an animal-lover, having grown up with lots of pets I am comfortable walking, feeding, doing basic training and of course cuddling dogs and cats! I grew up with two dogs so I am used to walking more than one dog at a time. I have also taken my pets to the vets, therefore I would be happy to take other people's animals to the vets as well. I grew up riding horses, hence I am knowledgeable in taking up a horse, cleaning stables and mucking out a field. So any work involving animals I would love to do and I am always up for getting grubby and being in the dirt!

I have helped my Mum with gardening in the past, including mowing, weeding, watering plants and painting the garden wall. I also enjoy cleaning indoors as a stress-relieving activity, so I am good at cleaning, hoovering, mopping and dusting inside. Last summer as a family, we distressed old furniture by sanding, painting wood, hence I have a little DIY experience but I am very willing to learn more.

Furthermore, I help care for my elderly grandparents and my autistic brother, therefore I am experienced in caring for people that need a bit more extra help in daily life - I hope I can bring the patience I have learned as a carer into everyday encounters.

I have just completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training so it would be amazing to teach someone a class for free. I want to gain as much experience as possible and be able to bring the relaxing spiritual benefits of yoga to other people.
