FRANCESCA
Hi there! I'm Francesca and I'm 26 years old.
I'm here to discover and learn! I want to know different ways of living and thinking, new cultures and traditions, learn new skills and meet new people. I'm adventurous, spontaneous, curious and open minded, some things that makes makes me happy are
taking long walks, being surrounded by nature and animals, take care of plants, reading a good book, music, cooking for people, socialize and explore new places. I have always had an attraction towards nature, mountains, rivers and forests and so I would like to learn more about country life and self-reliance, one day I would like to have my own farm. I would also like to explore cities that fascinate me with all their stories to tell and also cause I have a passion for architecture, art and photography.
I want to travel and volunteer for my personal growth, my goal is to open my mind as much as possible, exchange stories, skills, experiences with other people. I'm interested in spiritual things, I do meditation and I belive in connection with nature and other people energies. I really like physical and outdoor works, especially gardening and working with animals but I also enjoy most of the house houseworks. During this experience I want to learn as much as I can, also learn more about organic gardening, permaculture and sustainable living would be great!

Hi! My name is Benedetta, I am from Abruzzo, Italy.
I’m a student with a degree in Social Work from the University of Chieti, and I am currently completing my Master's degree at La Sapienza in Rome.
My academic background has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of social dynamics and intervention techniques in helping and empowering relationships, which I have been able to apply through various work experiences.
I have worked as a social worker and an educator for minors, roles that have allowed me to help both adults and children overcome difficulties and develop their potential. These experiences have taught me the importance of listening, empathy, and collaboration, skills that I consider fundamental in any work context.
Besides my passion for social work, I love music and art. I believe that art in all its forms is a powerful tool for expression and personal growth. I enjoy listening to R&B and many other music genres, dancing, visiting art exhibitions, and attending cultural events.
I am excited to participate in Workaway to broaden my horizons and contribute with my skills and passion. I hope to share enriching experiences and learn new things along the way.I love meeting new people and cultures, as I believe that every encounter is an opportunity to enrich my soul and grow as a person.

FRANCESCA
I'm very good at working with and for people, but I'm even capable to work on my own. I'm a responsible and determinate person who always looks for the best way to do something and puts all her efforts into it. My main passion is gardening, i have experience especially with ornamental plants but I want to learn more about all types of crops, I'm really interested in medicinal plants and in organic vegetable gardening. My dream is to have a self-sufficient farm one day so I want to learn everything about this way of living. I enjoy living with animals and of course taking care of them, I think that we can learn so much from them. I'm capable to do small repairs around the house and general maintenance such as painting the walls, wooden working and DIY even if I don't have much experience in this kind of works. Cooking is also a thing that really brings me joy, especially if I cook for other people, I'm really interested in getting to know the cuisine of other countries and I want to introduce the Italian one.
Work experience:
Right now I work and partly manage my parent's restaurant, I am in charge of organisation, customer reception and staff management. Since I have mainly worked in the food service industry as a waitress or assistant cook I'm able to work very well with other people, this kind of work as also taught me to handle stressful situations and physical fatigue and has made me a very flexible and adaptable person with good problem solving skills! In Italy I had also volunteered as a tour guide, It was a beautiful experience that as push me out of my confort zone cause I've never talked in front of so much people before. I've also voluntereed for beach and park clean-up.
BENEDETTA
I have a passion for helping others and creating pathways that lead them to improve their conditions. I have had various work experiences that have allowed me to develop valuable skills in the social field.
I worked as a social worker in the Service for drug addition ,in the Municipality, and at the Department of Justice, handling cases at the Court and the Juvenile Social Service Office. I also aattended volunteer courses to work and help in jail, enriching my training and commitment to people in difficult situations.
Additionally, I worked as an educator in a community for disadvantaged minors with behavioral disorders, an experience that taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and collaboration. Before all this, I worked for many years as children's entertainer and waitress, roles that allowed me to develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
