I'm an American (from the state of Oregon) who wants to explore the world with an open mind and also live a self-sustaining lifestyle. Some things I enjoy are long hikes, camping, history, and travelling. I love meeting new people and exploring new places.
I have worked on farms and in dusty basements in the past and dont mind getting my hands dirty.
I had plans on taking my trip in the summer of 2020, but with covid, my plans have been delayed. Starting in July, with travel restrictions slowly easing, I hope to be able to cross the Atlantic and begin the next stage of my life!

I have taken multiple years worth of Spanish, though I've forgotten a lot of it sense I've been out of school. I'm hoping that in my travels I will be able to pick up a lot more.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have experience with building fence, digging holes, hand mixing concrete, changed irrigation pipelines, hanging sheetrock, working saws (and other power tools), and working with and around animals of all sorts, I just recently gained some experience with gardening, including harvesting veggies, weeding and laying drip line. I also have experience working in a pizza restaurant in my home town.

Last year I spent a lot of time traveling around Europe, I walked the Camino de Santiago through Spain, and traveled by train around a lot of the western part. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to try a new place, so now I'm in New Zealand, walking the Te Araroa. I can already tell I might need some breaks from the trail.

I know a few card games and love learning how to play new ones.
