Hello! It’s been three years since I spend Summer time in Europe escaping from the South American winter and I indulge myself with the beautiful Spain’s landscapes and cities.
This year I’d love to travel to Portugal, I’ve heard the country has great spots and gorgeous beaches and I am very interested in Portuguese history and colonization of the Americas because it has been an important period of my country’s history (Uruguay) and that of our Brazilian neighbours.
I’m kind of an adventurous person who loves to meet new people and different cultures. I live in Punta del Este, a small and wonderful city with enchanting beaches by the Río de la Plata (Plate River) and the Atlantic Ocean. Located on the southeast end of Uruguay on a long peninsula of sand, woodlands and rocks, Punta del Este is one of the most important and popular tourist destinations in the country and in the region, chosen by thousands of visitors of all nationalities, mostly Argentinians and Brazilians. Synonym for international jet set, good life and good taste, my home city is one of those places in the world where everybody wants to return.
I worked at a 5-star hotel and casino as PR manager for almost 20 years; at the moment I run my own loose-leaf tea business. I work out 5 days a week at a gym, don’t smoke and although I am not a vegetarian, I prefer vegetables and fruits rather than meat (in spite of living in one of the most red meat eater countries in the world. I have some cooking skills, especially preparing healthy meals.
I have traveled to Europe four times, USA four times and several times in South America (I love my continent): Perú, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras. In 2019 I stayed two wonderful months in Australia thanks to Workaway.
I speak English, Portuguese (I adore the language and practise it as much as I can) and Spanish, of course, my mother tongue. I treasure friendship and I am blessed with many many friends from the different stages of my life that I keep until nowadays. I have a loving 27-year son who works as a system programmer. I live in my own house just a stone’s throw from the beach with my cat. I strongly care of the environment so I practise ecological methods in my life as much as it’s possible.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have some cooking skills, especially preparing healthy meals. I do all house chores at home. Much of my daily work is on the computer and loose-leaf tea delivery of my business at my hometown. In summary, I am not a super woman but surely I am eager to share chores (indoors and outdoors) and nice chats
with my hosts.
